You asked, we listened! Join us this March for our teapot course where you will advance your wheel throwing skills through designing and creating your very own teapot! 

Learn the art of the teapot from Amy Lando, our resident teapot aficionado! Amy will be guiding you through this course and help you every step of the way as your create your one-of-kind vessel.

**This class is best for beginner+ (at least 1 month of class) to intermediate level potters. If you are a beginner and curious if you can take this class- reach out to us via email at whiterabbitnashville@gmail.com

In order for this class to take place there will need to be 5 seats filled. If 5 seats for the course do not fill by 3/4 we will refund your class. 

Class schedule:

3/6 5:15-7:45pm: Teapots history - Demo & Throw a practice Lidded Vessel

3/7 5:15-7:45pm: Wheel throwing- Throwing the parts of the Teapot

3/13 5:15-7:45pm: Trimming and Assembly of your Teapot 

3/27 5:15-7:45pm: Glazing your Teapot! 

This course will combine wheel throwing and hand-building skills so it’s a great option to advance your skill level in each area and make a beautiful ceramic teapot you will use and display for years to come!

Included in your class: 

• 10lbs of clay
• 1 lidded vessel and 1 teapot
• multiple glaze options
• Guided hands-on instruction 
• firing of your items

This class can also be used to make unique lidded jars instead of a teapot.
